The title of my project

It was now the end of May 2023, and the final project was assigned. There would be very little help or guidance on this one. I was given a stylesheet for fonts, colors, and sizes to use. I would be walked through and evaluated on the processes of wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and the initial site build. Then I had to use React to make the table-booking system function properly.

Project Requirements:

• All pages will preserve the style guide
• Have a Reserve-A-Table button on the main page
• Reservation screen that will include an element to input the date, the time, the number of diners, the occasion, and a button to link to the next screen
• Reservation form that will include the customer's first and last name, contact information, required fields should be indicated with relevant warnings, a button to confirm or submit the customer information
• A successful reservation submission confirmation message

Lessons Learned: I had to bring together multiple skills from throughout the 7-month course to solve this authentic real-world problem by building an app. It required me to think differently about building a page and how to go about doing that. Working through the issues I had with classmates taught me how to ask better questions to get more specific advice about the problem I had at hand.

Continued Development: This is a project that only required me to make a main page and one function for the restaurant. But as can be seen, there are many, many more options that can be flushed out for a more complete experience. I have a few styling issues, such as adding a background color on the navigation indicating which page the user is on or aligning text between sections a bit better, that I'd like to fix should I revisit this one.
